Group Buyer Forum 22nd October National Memorial Arboretum.

Tour operators heading from across the UK to the Group Buyer Forum at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire on 22nd
October are being invited to tarry awhile in the Cotswolds and stay the night before [Sunday 21 October] at the Charingworth Manor Hotel in Chipping Campden.

Charingworth Manor is the flagship of Classic Lodges Hotels who are exhibiting at the Forum on the Monday, the hotel will be keen to show how well they can handle groups.

And operators arriving at the hotel en route to the Group Buyer Forum will also be able to take in some of the idyllic Cotswold scenery and attractions during their visit on the Sunday.

The Group Buyer Forum is the latest ‘meet the buyer’ event arranged by nationwide travel trade specialists Steve Reed Tourism Ltd from Hampshire. Brooklands Museum in Weybridge; Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire and RHS Wisley near Woking all recently hosted similar events for Steve Reed Tourism and the National Memorial Arboretum on 22nd October will be the latest.

Exhibitors from all over the country will meet GTOS and coach and tour operators face to face. A truly national event and purely for group bookings, the exhibitors include Warner leisure Hotels; Visit Exeter; Kittywake Canal Cruises from Wigan; Village Hotels; Visit Stoke; Discover Dudley; The Lowry from Salford Quays; Ena Mill from Atherton in Greater Manchester; Carden Park Hotel from Cheshire; River Escapes from Newcastle upon Tyne; Compton Verney from Warwickshire; The Association of Group Travel Organisers [AGTO] and the King Richard the Third Visitor Centre in Leicester.

‘They’re just some of the wonderful attractions, hotels and venues that are looking forward to meeting the tour planners – we’ve got exhibitors from Somerset, Devon, Manchester and the NorthEast not to mention some top Midlands attractions like the World of Wedgwood, Trentham Estate and of course the host for the event – the brilliant National Memorial Arboretum.’ explains Steve.

Naomi Phillips is the Group Sales Director for Classic Lodges Hotels:

‘We’re very pleased to host some of the buyers at the Charingworth Manor Hotel. And being at the Group Buyer Forum and meeting all of the attendees there will allow us to highlight our extensive portfolio of hotels across the country including our exciting new development, the Ramsay Park in the Isle of Man.
