Coach and tour operators and group travel organisers from around the UK are being invited to the annual Southern Wales Group Buyer Showcase taking place from Sunday 10th to Tuesday 12th March 2019.
It’s an ideal way to come up with new tours and excursions say
the organisers Southern Wales Tourism.
Now in its fifth consecutive year, the buyers will join Southern
Wales Tourism & Steve Reed Tourism from Hampshire for a 3 day
familiarisation visit discovering the very best of South East Wales.
The event features the Best Western Heronston Hotel & Spa
in Bridgend where the attendees will stay for the Sunday and Monday nights.
The event is always in great demand by tour planners and
already a number of top companies and organisations have signed up to the
event. These include for example, Skinners of Oxted; Albatross Group from Kent;
Richmond’s Coaches from Royston and Tailored Travel from London.
Blue Badge Tourist Guide Steve Griffin will be looking after
the group on their familiarisation visits.
Over the course of the three days the operators will visit
some of the best attractions including Caerphilly Castle, Llanerch Vineyard,
The Royal Mint Visitor Experience, Bedwellty House and Cardiff Castle to name
but a few.
Taking place on Monday 11th March, the event will also
include a business to business workshop at the National Museum Cardiff where
buyers can will meet some of the key tourism suppliers from South Wales in a
series of one-to-one pre scheduled appointments.
Those operators unable to attend the full familiarisation
can reserve day delegate places for the workshop on the 11th March and will
meet representatives from our best hotels and attractions. There will be
special offers on the day for bookings taken and buyers can also enjoy free
refreshments throughout the day.

wholesalers and inbound operators attending this super event,’ explains Steve
Reed.
