Tour Buyers Spellbound at Samlesbury Hall.
A holiday and hotel company met GTOS and tour operators this week at Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire for an event entitled ‘Daish’s and Friends’.
Daish’s
Holidays – a nationwide group travel business with twelve hotels in ten resorts
– met the tour buyers along with a variety of Northwest attractions such as Ena
Mill Retail of Greater Manchester; the Olympus Restaurant from Bolton;
Macclesfield Silk Museum and Paradise Mill; Visit Ribble Valley; the Lowry Art Gallery
and Theatre of Salford Quays.
Arranged in
conjunction with Steve Reed Tourism Ltd, the event included a special tour of
the historic hall conducted by Jeannie the Witch, a unique tour guide.
Daish’s also
presented a number of prizes for the GTOS from the prize draw made on the day
at Samlesbury.
‘Daish’s and
Friends is a great way to get to meet some of our existing customers and also
to become acquainted with new tour organisers,’ says Martin Jenkins of Daish’s
Holidays.
‘We’re
planning to arrange some more of these enjoyable events at attractions around
the country so watch this space!’
Ends.
