English Riviera to Welcome Groups with Film.
9/6/2021
The English Riviera in Devon is to be in sharp focus for the UK travel trade.
Filming will
take place in early October 2021 at tourist sites across Babbacombe, Torquay,
Paignton and Brixham.
And the aim
of the film will be to encourage groups and coaches to come to the English
Riviera.
Arranged by
the English Riviera BID Company working in conjunction with travel trade
specialist company Steve Reed Tourism Ltd of Hampshire and Jay Stone Film and
Videography of Devon, the short 12-15 minutes movie will be sent to coach and
tour operators around the country.
Coaches and
groups of visitors have always been very important to the English Riviera
tourism businesses – attractions, hotels, venues and hospitality – and we hope that
the film will build upon that popularity.
Carolyn
Custerson is the CEO of the English Riviera BID Company:
We are very
much looking forward to capturing our beautiful resorts and terrific businesses
on this exciting film. It will give extra confidence to tour planners that the
English Riviera has everything they could possibly need for a successful group
tour,’ says Carolyn.
A filming
plan is currently being put together and this will include many of the
well-known and much loved attractions such as for example, Bygones in
Babbacombe, the Dartmouth Steam Railway in Paignton; Torre Abbey and Gardens in
Torquay and boat trips to and from Brixham.
Ends.
