Crook Hall and Gardens Unveils the Group Exclusive.
13.04.18.
One of the region’s most loved tourist attractions will next week try to cultivate new generations of visitors for the North East of England.
Crook Hall and Gardens situated in the heart of the
ancient City of Durham is to unveil its Group
Exclusive offering to coach and tour operators from around the UK.
The tour planners will meet at Crook Hall at 10.30 am
on Monday 16th
April where they will see for themselves how good the
award winning house and gardens are at attracting the spending power of coach
parties.
Some of the operators are being hosted by Wynyard Hall
near Stockton-On-Tees and they will arrive in a coach provided by well-known
Coatham Coaches from Saltburn on Sea.
Members of the Confederation of Passenger Transport
[CPT] will also be in attendance including Durham City Coaches and Stanley
Travel.
The 13th century Grade 1 listed and rare
medieval hall provides what is a spectacular backdrop to the stunning gardens
there. Since 1995 Maggie and Keith Bell have been the proud owners of Crook
Hall and Gardens:
‘We’re glad to be working with Steve Reed Tourism to
help introduce our very special home to new generations of groups and coach
parties,’ says Keith.
‘We’ve improved what we offer to groups over recent
years – for example we now have the superb Garden Gate Café to help provide an
extra service to our visitors.’
Reporters and photographers are invited to the
unveiling of the Crook Hall Group Exclusive on Monday 16th April
between 10.30 – 11.00.
