One Showcase, Two Hotels and Lots of Fun!

Group travel organisers from around the country will be setting their sights on two great tourist destinations next year. The Lake District and Europe’s largest resort, Blackpool.

Daish’s Holidays have been in operation for 40 years now since owner and founder Jeanne Wilson opened her first hotel – Daish’s Hotel – in Shanklin, Isle of Wight in 1979.

Now her empire has expanded to take in nine destinations and a total of ten hotels.

Her latest hotels are the County Hotel in Kendal, right in the heart of the Lake District and the North Shore [formerly known as the Manhattan Hotel] located on a prominent position on Blackpool’s North Promenade.

Now GTOS and coach and tour operators are heading to the County Hotel for a three night showcase visit 2-5 October 2020.  They’ll have the chance to enjoy a stunning scenic tour of The English Lake District and in addition will experience the very best that Blackpool can offer groups of visitors – including the famous illuminations. .

The delegates attending this special two centre educational visit will have a lunch and a showround of the North Shore Hotel during their seaside trip. They’ll also take in a number of top attractions around Blackpool.

Their Lake District tour will include a cruise on a lake, a visit to a whisky distillery and a ride on a heritage railway.

And tour planners booking their places on the showcase will have their fee refunded if they subsequently book a holiday with Daish’s during 2021.

‘The acquisition of the Lake District and Blackpool hotels really gives tour planners and independent travellers a lot more holiday choice,’ says Martin Jenkins of Daish’s Holidays.

Customers now have an opportunity to choose from a variety of top destinations around the country – with each hotel offering the unique blend of top service, comfort and excellent value for money.’

Daish’s Holidays have ten hotels in nine resorts across England: The Prince Regent and Russell Hotels in Weymouth; The Sands Hotel in Bournemouth; the Claremont Hotel in Eastbourne; the Devonshire Hotel in Torquay; Barrowfields Hotel in Newquay, Daish’s Hotel in Shanklin, Isle of Wight; The County Hotel in Kendal; The North Shore in Blackpool and in Llandudno North Wales, the Somerset Hotel. http://www.daishs.com/
